Belfast Studio Rental is Ireland's largest Profoto rental house. We maintain more than twelve Pro-8a 2400 Air packs, fourteen D4 2400 Air packs and three B4 1000 Air battery systems — the depth of inventory to support large multi-pack productions without compromise.
We deliver directly to shoots across Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare and the wider Leinster region. Every pack and head is professionally serviced and tested before despatch. For large productions we can pre-rig and test all equipment in advance of your shoot day.
Most lighting rental houses in Dublin carry a limited Profoto selection. BSR exists specifically to serve high-demand commercial, advertising and TV productions that need multiple packs — a five-pack D4 setup for a large fashion campaign, three Pro-8a generators for a multi-camera automotive shoot, or a full grip package delivered to a Dublin location at short notice.

Do you deliver Profoto equipment to Dublin?
Yes. We regularly deliver Profoto packs, heads and modifiers to shoots across Dublin and the wider Republic of Ireland. Contact us with your shoot date and location for delivery costs and availability.
How much does it cost to hire a Profoto Pro-8a pack?
The Profoto Pro-8a 2400 Air is £60 per day ex. VAT. Multi-day and multi-pack discounts are available — contact us for a full quote.
What is the difference between the Pro-8a and D4 pack?
Both packs output 2400 Ws. The Pro-8a is a high-performance generator pack favoured for demanding commercial and advertising work — it offers faster recycling and more precise power control. The D4 is a robust, reliable workhorse pack well suited to editorial, portrait and general studio use. Both are compatible with Profoto ProHeads and TwinTube heads.
Can I hire Profoto heads separately?
Yes. All Profoto heads — ProHead Plus, D4 heads, TwinTube heads — are available to hire separately or as part of a pack-and-head bundle. We also carry a full range of softboxes, Magnum reflectors, grids and OCF modifiers.
Do you cover shoots outside Dublin?
Yes. We cover the full Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We regularly supply productions in Cork, Galway, Limerick, Wicklow and across the country. Contact us with your location and we'll arrange delivery.

Do you also offer studio hire?
Yes. Our 1,300 sq ft daylight studio is based at Blackstaff Mill, Belfast. You can hire the studio and add Profoto packs, heads and grip from our full inventory — one supplier, one invoice. See our Studio Hire page for rates and details.
